Punjab National Bank (PNB) has officially released the detailed notification for the “Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the FY 2025–26” on 5th February 2026. Through this recruitment drive, PNS is going to fill 5138 apprentice posts across various states and union territories of India.

PNB Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
All aspiring candidates must be aware of the minimum required eligibility to apply online for PNB Recruitment 2026. Candidates’ eligibility in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows:
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed their Graduation in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by the Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01/0/2026.
- The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT should be proficient (in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of that State/UT.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
Candidates’ age should be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2006
The upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates is applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.
