UPSSSC Pharmacist Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must meet the following eligibility standards before submitting their application:

• Educational Qualification: Must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and be registered with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh.
• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and possess a valid score card issued by the Commission.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as of the specified cut-off date (January 1st or July 1st of the recruitment year depending on the advertisement timing). Relaxation is provided to SC, ST, and other reserved categories as per government rules.

The selection process involves two main stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on PET-2025 normalized scores.
2. Main Written Examination: A single paper of 100 marks (120 minutes) featuring questions on subject knowledge (65), Computer & IT (15), and General Information about UP (20). A negative marking of 25% (1/4 mark) applies to wrong answers.
